Therapy for the
Highly Sensitive Person

When you notice, feel, and take in a lot.

What being highly sensitive can look like

You notice things other people seem to miss: a subtle change in someone’s mood, the energy in a room, or a sound you can’t tune out.

You have a vivid inner world and tend to process your experiences deeply. That depth can bring insight, inspiration, and new ways of seeing things. It can also become overwhelming when there’s a lot happening.

Being highly sensitive isn’t something that needs to be fixed. Your sensitivity can be a strength, and learning how it shows up can help you understand what affects you, supports you, and drains you.

Making space for sensitivity

Therapy for highly sensitive people isn’t about becoming less sensitive or learning to tune everything out. Your sensitivity is part of how you experience the world.

We can explore how sensitivity shows up for you, including what happens when there’s simply too much to take in. Alongside conversation, we might use mindfulness, body awareness, grounding, gentle movement, or creative reflection. There’s no single way our sessions have to look.

The goal isn’t to stop noticing or feeling deeply. It’s to work with your sensitivity rather than against it, make space for what you need, and build greater trust in yourself.
